An HCI class study evaluating Carrot (당근마켓)'s usability — where the app's core flows feel complex, and where they don't.
For an HCI course project, I studied Carrot, Korea's largest secondhand marketplace app, to understand how its interface complexity affects real users. Rather than relying on my own read of the app, I ran a mixed offline and online survey alongside follow-up interviews to hear directly from people who use it.
Research design, survey construction, and interview moderation, as part of a team HCI project. Combined in-person and online survey distribution to reach a broader range of users, then followed up with interviews to dig into the "why" behind the survey results.
